When can Alexander Technique be helpful?
In an ideal case the technique will be preventative. In the case of existing afflictions, the technique offers possible solutions which support our psycho-physical health.
Alexander Technique is applied to support and promote:

- physical and psychological well-being

- coordination of movement and balance
AT supports the healing process and alleviation of pain in cases of
- tiredness, stress and tension
- head, neck, shoulder and back pain
- occasional or chronic pain in the locomotor system
(rheumatic discomfort such as pain in joints or limbs)
- Illness or accident, including whiplash injuries and
- burnout syndrome
For people with anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, AD(H)D, eating disorders, depression etc. AT can have a positive influence thanks to its body centring and grounding elements which work in a stabilising way.
