What is the Alexander Technique?

A body oriented learning method, which is assigned to the field of complementary therapy but is represented and equally applied in education and teaching. AT teaches us consciousness and awareness particularly our body as well as self-awareness and awareness of others.

While experiencing and learning through our senses, we expand into different ways of thinking, feeling, perceiving and acting.

Through Alexander Technique you become aware of your movement and behavioural habits and you learn to change them where necessary.

HOW we do something is important because it has an essential influence on the functioning of our movement apparatus. Through the careful use of our selves, it is, thanks to the Alexander Technique, possible to let go of unnecessary and undesired tension.

You can learn a skill which serves to support you carrying out thought and movement processes in a more conscious and efficient way with adequate use of muscular strength and energy.

Ailments caused through unconscious habits of use and tension dont need to be a permanent state. Furthermore, good coordination, harmonious movement and freedom from pain can become a part of us.
